We’re here to make a difference through our words, and we publish books that raise funds for charity.
In 2020 and 2021, we published When The World Paused and When The World Paused Again. These two books bring together reflections on life during a pandemic. These are our stories of what we did – how we shielded, kept our distance, put rainbows in our windows, made masks, clapped for our carers, volunteered, donated, and stood at the bottom of our relatives’ gardens just to see them. How we worked, didn’t work, went on furlough, home schooled, exercised, and crafted. How we cried, screamed, shouted, laughed, soothed, and ultimately, cared for others. These books capture a piece of our history and ultimately, above all else, are stories of hope, and love – our stories of what we did when the world paused.
These books are raising money for NHS Charities Together supporting the healthcare heroes who were there for us during Covid-19. So far we have raised £868 for NHS Charities from sales of the book. You can buy your copies here
And, what’s more, a Radio Norfolk a recording of a chapter from the book (Thea’s chapter) is in the British Library, as part of their permanent Covid-19 collection.
A wonderful collection of anecdotal stories told during the stresses and strains of a Covid lockdown.
Some were laugh-out-loud funny, others were rather poignant.

In 2023, we published The Things I Wish I’d Known which brings together inspiring, moving, and thought-provoking personal essays written by women, sharing things they’ve learnt along the way.
Self-esteem, confidence, self-belief, fear, and resilience are just some of the themes covered within the hopeful and uplifting pages of this book. Together with the personal essays, there are also tips and suggestions throughout this book, and, there’s space at the end for the reader to become the writer and capture their own thoughts, ideas, and reflections.
The book is fundraising for Women’s Aid and so far we have raised £241 for the charity from sales of this book. You can buy it here
