Love after life will be a collection of words on how love continues to stay in our lives after the people we love have left us.
It will be a book about how we continue to feel and live with the love of those who have passed away, how we heal so that we can live without them, and how they continue to inspire us.
It will be a book of hope, and above all, of love.
It will honour the people for whom we grieve.
It will touch and connect with others who may be struggling.
It will raise money for Sue Ryder bereavement support services to reach others in pain. 100% of royalties will go to this cause.
The details
Here’s an example of the content that will be included: Never Lost, Always Found | words_rhymes_rambles (wordpress.com)
The contributions should be 500 – 1000 words. They can be personal essays, poems, fiction.
The words can be about healing, about being inspired by someone who’s no longer in our lives physically, about how we live our lives in their example, about making a difference – like fundraising – because of them.
The words will be about love and how it not only survives but it can thrive after they’ve left us.
Ultimately the book will be a positive tome so we are looking for hopeful words to reach others in grief and pain.
The book also aims to help those who are writing, to tell their stories, to express their thoughts and feelings in words, and to honour those they mourn.
The very act of writing can have a cathartic effect for those taking part.
